  • 2014, September: Census LED Partnership Workshop, Washington, DC. I presented my work on EVA (Explorable Visual Analytics) using Census LEHD dataset.
  • 2014, August: ACM KDD IDEA (Interactive Data Exploration and Analytics) Workshop, New York City. I presented my work on knowledge discovery in big data.
  • 2014, May: PA Spatial Cognition Symposium, Penn State University, Pennsylvania. I presented my initial works on human-data interaction. The title of my talk was “knowledge discovery in large and high-dimensional space”.
  • 2012, November: AAAI Fall Symposium, (FSS12), Arlington, Virginia. I presented my work on consensus in swarms, Studying Direct and Indirect Human Influence on Consensus in Swarms.
